18_0510 Jenna Update

You Can’t Run

You can’t run away from the path God has for you. You must run to it embrace it,  find comfort in God Himself. Notice I didn’t say love the path (not yet anyway). I believe we continue to grow after huge trials in our life. We grow closer to God and His sovereignty becomes clearer, His grace more pronounced, and we finally see the wisdom in every trial. Once we have travelled through no matter how tough it was our spiritual eyes become clearer, the inevitability of eternity draws closer, and the gravity of what eternity looks like better helps us understand life. At that point the things we have gone through and the results they accomplished help us love God and the trials more.

Your Trials

While you travel though and currently don’t understand be assured you will one day and you will be able to embrace God’s grace tighter than before. It’s easy to forget while in the midst of the fight how faithful and gracious your Heavenly Father really is but He has not changed in the midst of the fight anymore than in the peaceful times. Continue to fight and give Him glory. Remember you are not the first one there. Those who went before you made it and so will you. Once you strip away the emotions allowing yourself to lean on God and what is spiritual you will understand the gravity of what we are talking about. As we draw closer to the things of God our mortality, weaknesses, and the revelation of who God is becomes more clearly defined. Then in your life you see God, His glory and wisdom. One day it will make sense.

The Vision

When we are travelling through life we need to understand the Bible in its desired way spiritually. This Word was written to encourage, teach, comfort, and so many other things this world cannot provide. Now that we are in the midst of the flames we will understand this more fully. Sitting by Jenna’s bed waiting for lack of better words for her to leave and be with the Lord if we didn’t have a vision we would perish, either now or soon after she departed. What is this vision we need it I need to be sustained, in regards to vision. The vision we need is for food, water, and love to sustain our life (spiritual) during this time. Food (the Word of God) gives me the spiritual sustenance, Water (the Holy Spirit gives me that living water) I can bathe in when I am feeling down through prayer and meditation, and brotherly kindness (love) that the community of believers so freely provide. Without this spiritual vision we would perish.

Jenna’s Home Now

This morning 10 May 2018 at 3:25 Jenna came into the light and now understands the spiritual vision clearly.

12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 1 Corinthians 13:12

She now walks with legs that do not hurt and is in the light of a Father that loves her so much more than we ever could.

Thank you God for the years we have had and for the saving grace you have provided. Knowing one day we will walk together, laugh together, and love together again in your glorious presence where pain does not exist. In Jesus name we give you glory, honor, and praise for giving us the ultimate sacrifice.

Sharing is caring!

  6. Dear Brett, Becky, and boys,

I’m so sorry to read that Jenna’s journey has ended here on earth, but rejoice with you that one day you will all be reunited in Heaven. Grief and love are conjoined – you cannot have one without the other. In your grief may you also find peace that she is whole again, a Good and Faithful Servant returned home, as you say, to a Father that loves her.

Thank you for sharing Jenna with us. Praying specifically for you all as you navigate the difficult days ahead.

  7. I am Lisa Solomons’ mother and have followed Jenna’s path thru Lisa and Bobby. I am so glad her family has God and the Holy Spirit and Jesus for the only true comfort you can have right now. But know that a lot of people have prayed and are praying and are so very sad at this time.

    1. We do know the support we have received in prayers and they have supported us in so many ways. It was early on that we realized Jenna was the worlds daughter and we were her care takers. Thank you to everyone for everything and Glory to God for His mercy and Grace.
